“Yesterday I broke down and made a call to Direct Line Breakdown service. I just wanted to take the opportunity to write and say a big thank you for the great service I received.  Martyn was quick to get to me, took the time to double check where I was located so he could drive straight to me.  When he arrived he was really kind and courteous.  Martyn quickly identified the fault and then made sure I was safe and comfortable in the breakdown vehicle before loading my car for recovery.  On the journey to my local garage he explained the problem and what to expect in terms of the repairs.  He also doubled checked how I was getting home and made sure that my partner was waiting for me at the garage when we arrived.
